An account in In my home and fifty feet around it in any direction. I have tested this by walking around the location and driving around the location.
It's a very low level frequency sound coming from outside, under the house or above the house. For the longest time I assumed it was a culmination of several hot water tanks going off around me, because , during a bout of it, my hot water tank burst. However, replacing the tank did not stop it from occurring. It is sporadic, but happens more often at night than during the day. I initially thought it was just a vibration , rather than a sound. It is extremely low . After spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to locate it, I started to assume it was internal. The strange thing though is that it disappears if I leave the location. I should note that when it first occurred, it was much louder and all of my electronics went haywire, including my computer. This was very upsetting, because i am an online teacher. This may be what caused the feeling of anxiety, rather than the sound itself. Also, my smart lights would flash and I sometimes heard an electric "mouse squeak" sound when I approached an electronic device. Also, the street lamp in front of my house was green , rather than orange like all the others on my street. It would flash too. When I told my son about it, I sounded nuts. He calmly pointed out that I might be connecting things that are not connected. I decided he was right. After about a month or two, all of that stopped happening. The sound is less frequent and the weird stuff completely stopped occurring. It only lasts about an hour or two now. I just try to ignore it. Coincidentally, the weird street lamp is now missing all of the glass. It no longer flashes. The city must have decided to repair it or something. Perhaps it shattered? I'm not sure.

It is a deep, low pitched, bassy sound between a hum and a rumble. There seems to be a slow, steady pulse to it. It reminds me of an engine idling off in the distance. I would swear it's com…
