A low hum in USA, Mayflower

Like a plane flying over but never pitching closer or further away. There are two tones that intermittently but constantly pulse. Sometimes the pulses are strong enough to make a muffled pop like you might hear while swimming underwater. The hum is louder in rooms closest to the outer wall which is built with stone.

What they reported

First noticed: 2017

Pitch: The lower tone is close to 100hz but I couldnt really match up the higher one. My closest would be 435hz for the higher time which is more consistent than the lower.

Loudest: During the night

Where: Indoors

Symptoms: Doesnt bother me. After I looked it up I am now intrigued and feel priveledged to be one of the few who can hear it.

Changes with weather: Yes, when there is enough to raise the ambient noise louder than the hum.

What stood out: a low hum

Low frequency hum, always same frequency, I'd estimate around 50hz (at least my perception). I only hear it at/in my home, if I'm at another location, I don't think I've ever heard of it.

Low pitch hum estimating around 50-100hz The sound is not a perfect pure tone, and has slight volume changes, it sounds similar to the hum of a fan motor. I have driven around in an attempt

A low frequency Hum sound that fluctuates subtly but for the most part is steady The Hum is a low frequency and droning sound and it kind of fluctuates in tone.. almost like an idling diesel

Very low-pitched continuous drone. Pitch rises and falls slightly but can remain steady at times. Inaudible to my wife. Reminiscent of the hum from a large transformer/sub station but there

Low, soft rumble - as if a large truck were idling in the distance - it varies, but not rhythmically - I can almost "feel" the vibrations. Most predominantly at night, in the bedroom on the

Low hum, sometimes pulsating, sometimes not. It is very loud. It sounds like a propeller airplane way off in the distance, but it doesnt go away. Or an 18-wheeler on a busy freeway,
