A low droning noise, similar to a UFO overhead in an alien movie My sister pointed out that I seem to hear the noise when there are low-level earthquakes happening nearby. Anytime I tell her that I heard it at a certain time, she’s able to find a local earthquake that was far enough away that it wouldn’t impact us but within the state. She thinks I’m somehow detecting the tectonic plates crashing together.
