A low hum in UK, London

Like a generator or roadwork machinery idling at the end of the street Earplugs make no difference. The question about being right or left handed is interesting as I had severe wrist pain around the time the Hum appeared and I decided to learn to write with my non-dominant hand, which I have continued to practice regularly.
