A low hum in England, Southampton SO19 6AN

A droning sound, like a generator somewhere near or speedboat out on the water. The hum is as much a vibration to me as a sound. As nobody else could hear it, I thought I was going mad! I'm learning to live with it, but at least now I know it's real for others too.
