A low, rhythmic hum. It rises slowly, and crescendos at 5 seconds, and disappears at 9 seconds, with 4 seconds of complete silence in between. The only thing that stops the sound is putting my fingers in my ears. I do have an acute anxiety disorder, as well as bipolar disorder. I was taking my current dosage of medications long before the hum appeared
