An account in Nord, France

On January 26, 1979 at 12:45 AM, a motorist saw, about 150 meters ahead of him, a luminous sphere at ground level. As he approached, he saw that this sphere, 4 to 5 meters in diameter, was made up of several panels. Antennas measuring 1 to 2 meters were visible, as well as small blue and white flames. No noise was heard. This sphere disappeared by moving away toward the horizon. No other information was collected on this phenomenon, for which we lack data.
