An account in Savoie, France

On March 18, 1979 at around 9:45 PM, a witness observed from his yard, for 5 seconds, a luminous phenomenon that intrigued him. He saw appear and disappear in the clouds two orange spheres, 15 cm in diameter at arm's length, moving at very high speed from west to southeast. These two spheres were spaced about 50 cm apart from each other. No noise was heard. Despite an appeal for witnesses launched by the gendarmerie, no other testimony was collected about this phenomenon, for which we lack information.
