Recent testimony (August 17, 2009) of an old observation made at the beginning of July 1965 (the exact date is not specified by the witness; an arbitrary date is given for July 1, 1965; the witness also does not specify the exact location of the observation). In a brief email, a witness reports an observation made from a vehicle on an unspecified road between Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (04) and Manosque (04): at around 7:00 or 7:30 PM, during a trip through the Verdon Gorges and while crossing a lavender field, the witness, then aged 14, and his brother, aged 4, saw from the back of the car a "large overturned plate in a field" and "children coming out of that plate." No other information was collected and no other testimony will be reported. This case, strange at first glance, is too poorly documented for an investigation (no precise location or date).
