An account in Calvados, France

On August 6, 1978, two people testified to having observed the slow movement of a luminous object in the sky. According to the witnesses, a very bright light of yellow color moved slowly and at a steady pace for three quarters of an hour at high altitude in a southeast to northwest direction before disappearing from the witnesses' view. No other testimony was collected on this phenomenon. These people probably observed the movement of a satellite.
