An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Ctes-d'Armor, France

On June 4, 1978, between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., many people observed the passage of an object of spherical shape and very bright. This object advanced while oscillating from East to West. A darker mass was sometimes distinguishable beneath the object. All these people were probably witnessing the passage of a weather balloon strongly lit by the sun, as well as the meteorological probe placed beneath the balloon. The meteorological centers at Rennes or Guipavas frequently launch this type of object in the region.
