Observation of a silent ballet of several white lights seeming to form a single large object in the sky. The witness makes a video. This quite exceptional observation turned out to be caused by the very spectacular light show set up for the inauguration of the Schuman bridge over the Saône in Lyon on 5 November 2014. (see The Schuman bridge inaugurated.) GEIPAN made inquiries with the production company of this show, which indicated that on Monday evening, 3 November, 2 days before the inauguration, a rehearsal of the show had taken place. The very unusual effects observed by the witnesses are the result of these projections onto the low clouds pushed by the strong south wind. GEIPAN classifies this case "A" as explained by a light show.
