Recent testimony (01/10/2014) of an old observation with no date for the day and uncertainty about the month. In June or July 2011 at 6:30 PM, a witness observes a cluster of black balls in the sky, with a very blurry appearance. The altitude is fairly low (no more than 1000m). The object seems to rotate on itself. The description the witness gives of the phenomenon remains entirely consistent with a cluster of balloons, probably accidentally released. Only the blurry outline may be surprising: a hazy atmosphere, or slight glare due to backlighting, can cause this effect. Since the exact date is unknown, GEIPAN could not carry out the appropriate checks for this kind of phenomenon (checking movement relative to local wind, searching for those who released the balloons or other witnesses).
