An account in Cher, France

On June 29, 2014, from 9:30 PM, a witness is intrigued by the straight-line passage in the sky of a white aircraft he does not recognize: the witness sees no condensation trail, no wings, no light signals. But during the entire observation time, he hears a dull noise. The witness takes a photo with his phone. It is not uncommon for airplanes to produce no condensation trail (this depends on local atmospheric conditions: air humidity and temperature). At sunset, a high-altitude airplane is lit from the side: the underside of the wings, unlit, is darker than the sky background, which is blue and bright. Only the lit fuselage is visible from the ground. Seen from the ground, it appears in the form of a cigar. Furthermore, the blinking (anti-collision) lights of a high-altitude airplane are never visible from the ground in daylight. The Flightradar record indicates at that moment a flight from North to South (Airbus A320 Paris-Toulouse AF6168) that matches the observation.
