The witness observes, near a passenger plane, a cigar-shaped phenomenon. He rules out the possibility of a shadow and thinks it is a plane/pan flying in formation. Given the elements collected in the attached investigation report, namely: - Respective positions of the witness, the plane, and the sun favorable to the formation of a cast shadow. - Other existing similar examples. - Coordinated movement of the plane/PA set. - PAN slightly larger than a plane. - Presence of clouds in the immediate vicinity. This case is classified "A" as a certain observation of the plane's shadow on a layer of non-condensed microparticles located at a nearby altitude.
