An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Oise, France

On April 16, 2014 at around 8 p.m., a witness was taking photos of birds when he noticed a peculiar light with a rapid blinking. He then observed through the camera a translucent black object that did not appear in the photographs. No other testimony was collected. Given the objective elements gathered in the investigation report, namely conditions favorable to the creation of strong light reflections from parts of an airliner directed toward the witness, the presence of anticollision and/or navigation lights, the speed and distance of the UAP compatible with those of an airliner, we can conclude that the case involves the probable observation of an airliner whose fuselage or part of it was strongly illuminated by the setting sun and reflected toward the witness. This case is classified as "B" as the probable observation of an airliner illuminated by the setting sun.
