An account in Hrault, France

On March 14, 2014 at 7:30 PM, a motorist and his daughter observe through the windshield the very rapid movement of a luminous phenomenon in the cloudy sky. The phenomenon disappears behind the horizon line. The observation of a large, very bright point, followed by a short trail, crossing part of the sky in about 1 second, suggests a bolide (entry into the atmosphere at very high speed of a meteoroid, a small rocky body). This phenomenon was observed by many other witnesses who wrote on forums: Bolide of March 14, 2014. See also a video taken in Spanish Catalonia: Bolide in Spain. GEIPAN classifies this case "A" identified as a bolide. See also: explanation: Bolide.
