An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Gironde, France

On September 9, 2013 at 10:02 or 10:03 PM, a witness observed for 5 seconds the movements of several white luminous phenomena moving silently in the cloudy sky in a linear fashion, then turning counterclockwise, and finally disappearing. Only one testimony was collected. White circles seemingly projected onto the clouds and turning in a circle evoke an animation projector used by nightclubs. Friday evening at 10:00 PM is usual for this kind of promotion; but there does not seem to be any nightclub within 10 km of the observation site (there are some in the near suburbs of Bordeaux at 12 km, or toward Blaye at 18 km, which is too far for the projections to be clearly visible). Despite the strong similarity with the effect of a 'skyrose' type projector, but for lack of receiving any other testimony, and due to insufficient cross-checking, the GEIPAN classifies this case as C: lack of information.
