On September 10, 2012 at 10:25 PM, a witness quickly observed in the sky a very bright white-orange phenomenon. This intense light disappeared suddenly. No noise was noticed by the witness. Only one testimony was collected on this phenomenon. Given the objective elements defined in the investigation report (see the document), namely the duration of the observation compatible with that of satellite flashes (about 20 seconds), the appearance of a very bright flash, the elongated shape moving horizontally, and the position in the sky (azimuth and elevation) compatible with that of the satellite "ISIS 1" listed and visible at the date and time of the observation, we can conclude that this case probably concerns the observation of a flash from the satellite "ISIS 1" during its exit from the Earth's shadow cone. This case is to be classified as "B" as a probable observation of a flash from the satellite "ISIS 1." There remains uncertainty about the identity of the satellite that originated the phenomenon.
