A witness on 13 March 2012 at 8:35 pm observed the rapid passage of five bright points moving in formation along a descending trajectory. No noise was heard during the observation.
Another nearly simultaneous testimony of very similar appearance was reported to GEIPAN, seen from Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers (34) on the same evening and seen on the west side by this witness. It is highly likely that this is the same phenomenon.
The hypothesis of an atmospheric re-entry of a meteoroid (meteorite) or space debris is therefore highly likely.
