An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Meuse, France

A witness reports an observation made on September 1, 2011 at 10:35 PM: while on his terrace, he observes the rapid and silent passage from East to West of three yellowish lights. These lights disappear behind a cloud. The observation of these yellowish points crossing the sky in the direction of the wind (see Lorraine weather) is fully consistent with the observation of Thai lanterns, launched east of Bar-le-Duc (perhaps from the stadium side). The Geipan classifies this case "B": probable observation of Thai lanterns.
