An account in Aisne, France

While driving in their vehicle, one person and her husband noticed on several occasions the presence in the sky of a flying object that was moving. The flashing lights and the low altitude of the object intrigued them. No particular noise was heard during the observation. The observation described by the witness is compatible with the appearance of a helicopter in night flight. New helicopters are infinitely less noisy than conventional helicopters. The Air Section of the Gendarmerie of AMIENS, equipped with these new helicopters, confirmed that they were in flight in this sector on that day, but they can no longer specify the exact route taken that night. This case is therefore classified "B": probable observation of a helicopter.
