An orange orb in Morbihan, France

On June 4, 2010 at 11:12 PM, a witness filmed the passage of an orange light in the sky. A second witness, who took photographs but could not provide them to the investigators, described the phenomenon as a "sort of balloon containing a kind of paper lantern inside." The main witness was interviewed by the gendarmerie 4 months after the observation. The video attached to the gendarmerie's official report indeed shows, without ambiguity, the flight of a Thai-style lantern. The origin and launch location were not determined.
