On March 6, 2010 at around 11:05 PM, a motorist and his passengers observed the silent movement of about fifteen orange-red balls. A video was taken on a mobile phone during the observation, which lasted more than five minutes before the glowing balls gradually disappeared. The precise description given by the motorist closely resembles that of Thai lanterns released during festivities. Following the publication of an article in a local newspaper about this observation, a person responsible for releasing 13 Thai lanterns came forward.
