An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Gard, France

On December 25, 1993, at around 00:30, a witness driving on the highway observed two circular shapes, an estimated diameter of about 1 meter, flame-red in color, above a canal at an altitude of about 4 to 6 meters. The objects then separated, one left at high speed, but the second continued to move at reduced speed and the witness was able to follow it on the highway where he was driving at about 140 km/h. The object being faster, the witness lost sight of it. No noise was perceived and the duration of the observation was not specified. The investigation found a second witness, but the day before at a different time, and it cannot be confirmed that it was the same phenomenon. This phenomenon could not be identified.
