An account in Val-d'Oise, France

On December 16, 1980, at around 11 a.m., a witness spotted a round object in the clear sky that he could not identify. This object was topped with a pyramidal antenna; it was metallic in color and dazzled the witness at times. A light yellow halo enveloped it. It moved eastward with upward and downward movements. The observation lasted 4 minutes before the object gradually and completely disappeared toward the south. No other testimony was collected by the gendarmerie about this phenomenon, for which we lack information.
