Blue light in Drme, France

On December 3, 1980, at around 11 p.m., a motorist saw, 150 meters ahead of him, a circular object of large dimensions. Fluorescent green in color, it was stationary 10 meters above the road. Stopping to observe the object, it moved without noise and slowly approached the witness's vehicle. Frightened, the motorist resumed his route, passed under the craft, which followed him for about one kilometer. Arriving at an intersection, the motorist noted that the craft departed at high speed in the opposite direction. It then disappeared quickly. His observation lasted 3 to 4 minutes. During the investigation, another witness said he had seen a blue glow that evening, but his testimony remains very brief. Despite an appeal for witnesses and an on-site investigation, no other information was gathered on this phenomenon, which remains unexplained.
