Vanishing suddenly in Autre, France
On Sunday, September 5, 1954 at 5:15 p.m., a couple and their daughter, located near the P.T.T. radio station near Cape Spartel (Morocco), observed the presence very high in the sky of a circular black spot approximately the size of an aircraft. One of the witnesses reports that for 10 minutes he was able to follow, heading south, the movements of this dark phenomenon. No glow, no smoke, or sparks were noticed. No noise was heard. The movements were punctuated by sudden stops. The phenomenon disappeared toward the west, diving toward the sea until it vanished at the horizon. Only one testimony was collected, with a map and a diagram.
The hypothesis of an aircraft coming from the Rabat-Salé air base (base of the 8th fighter wing on Vampire aircraft) performing aerial acrobatics is possible.
