Paralysis

Before the dream, I was having insomnia, so I imagined myself sitting on <PERSON>'s living room couch waiting to go hopefully lucid dream with her, but instead of the coffee table there, I pictured an apple tree growing to the starlit sky without a ceiling in the room.This stemmed from a <PERSON> I heard years ago (see link below with the lyrics at the bottom). When I finally was able to fall asleep, I was in an auditorium in an acting class, and people were doing short improvisation performances. I was also supposed to do one, but I wanted to tell the teacher that I would not be able to as I had not slept enough. Then, without trying to move, I started sliding across the floor as if skating. I thought that this was odd, and I said to myself 'I better check if I am dreaming.'
