Voices

It all started out with me riding a motorbike of some kind. I seemed to be nearby my own subdivision, though. But the off thing was that many of the houses seemed under construction. Perhaps in the dreamworld, our neighborhood was being expanded or rebuilt. Anyways, I cannot remember the exact details of what I did. I just rode this bike around experimenting with the handling characteristics of the motorbike. Eventually, I came across this large warehouse building. I rode through it, noticing that the building looked rather decayed. I parked in the back of the warehouse, where there were a couple small trailers parked in the corner. I got off the bike and began exploring one of the trailers. It was around this time that I got lucid. The dream was very blurry (I have not done this in awhile and forgot to stabilize.) And the trailer sort of morphed into what looked like a grandmother's house. (Not my grandmother's house in particular, just in general with the furniture and decoration.) Two dream characters were present. One was a young Asian boy who seemed really upset. I asked him why he was so distraught, and he said that he wanted to look like his favorite person from Youtube. I explained to him that this was a dream, and that he was in control and had the ability to do whatever he wanted. The boy changed into a much older version of himself that looked pretty much the same. Then there was this alien character, who looked sort of like ET, only taller. The alien character turned out to have the voice of my mother. In her voice, the alien complained that it was hideous and would do anything to change back to normal. Again, I explained that this was a dream and that anything was possible. The alien character changed into my mother. I am not entirely sure of my motivation for telling these dream characters that they were dreaming. Perhaps just my unstable lucidity led me to believe that I was actually having a shared dream. Whatever the reason, unstable lucidity is just the best! Well my unstable lucidity left me, and came the most interesting part of the dream. A pair of chickens came into the room. And (enter dream logic) I was terrified of them, for some odd reason. I had an overwhelming feeling that the chickens were aggressive, fearsome, and wanted to kill me. I tried to tell myself that they were just chickens. (Keep in mind, If I were still lucid, I could handle this.) The smaller of the two chickens jumped at my trying to peck me. I grabbed it by the neck. It struggled fiercely, but I had it contained. The other chicken suddenly began to inflate. It is eyes began to distend and it is head puffed up. (In a freaky way, not a funny way.) And the chicken began to swell and shake as though pressure was building up. I was getting more and more terrified. I think the chicken exploded from too much pressure and I woke up.
