Sometimes when I fall asleep I become aware of the in between sleep and not sleep stage, and I get stuck. <PERSON> it feels like... I actually feel like literally stuck in vibration between two worlds. The only thing is that it is painful. Almost seizure like pain... It makes my head feel like it is going to split in half and my eyes roll back, and I also loose the ability to breathe. I am afraid! And my body has no control. And the longer it last the more pain I feel and I come out of it... But in some situations I will be stuck in this paralysis. I have heard voices once, and in another situation also felt a beam of light shining down on me... Very weird. So I do some research on this "sleep paralysis", never even heard of it, and apparently many people go through this... But it gets creepier... They say it is demonic possession and or they see shadow people and see an evil thing sitting on their chest suffocating them. This all seems like a horrific drug trip. That you cannot sober up from. Unless you wake up. But the fucked up part of it all is that you are awake... Your body is just asleep. I have yet to meet anyone else who has gone through this... I almost told my doctor until I searched it online and now I know it has a name and similar stories... And it has not happened anytime recently... So... We will see if it returns. I will keep you all posted. <PERSON>
