It's akin to the sound of a large diesel engine that you can hear when you are in the bottom of a ferry or large vessel. Yet I am far from any harbor, or equipment of any kind. No cars or traffic either. I can here the ACS generator since I was a kid in the lower valley of Lemon Creek. This is NOT it. It was loud enough to wake me up and was distinct.
