An account in L11 3

A sort of low motor ticking over. I hear it when in my bathroom overnight and very early morning, when everywhere else is quiet I thought the noise could be caused by an election windmill a mile from my home but I hear it when the windmill is not in action too

What they reported

First noticed: 2011

Loudest: During the night

Where: Indoors

Changes with weather: Louder during the spring and summer months

If this reminds you of something a friend or a relative told you once and never mentioned again, send them this page. Reading that a stranger described the same thing is usually the part that helps.
