An account in South Africa, Johannesburg

Like electricity but we have loadshedding which is a total black out for 4 hours stretching 10 suburbs and I can still hear it. My kids cant. Its not crazy mad but its irritating and I keep asking people to stop and listen to see if they can hear it which they cant. When Im quiet and alone ie no TV so reading, sleeping or studying it gets reallly loud and throbs stronger to weak, back to strong etc.

What they reported

First noticed: 2021

Pitch: Sine 440 htz

Loudest: During the night

Where: Indoors

Symptoms: Ear discomfort (pain, fullness, throbbing), Headache, Insomnia, Sense of vibration

Changes with weather: Havent really observed but I would say they day after or hours after rain make it stonger.
