Less of a sound, more of the feeling of vibration and dull buzz that goes with it. It's very frustrating--it's not quite a sound for me, it's more of a vibration that is producing a sound, if that makes sense. I have trouble describing it to others but I feel like I'm vibrating throughout my home (standing, sitting, lying down, etc.). Everywhere else is fine.
