Low hum used to sound like a idling diesel engine but recently it has gotten louder and pulsates at times. Before I only heard it at night and indoors, Now during the day and sometimes even outdoors when it is very quiet. I have gotten some answer from people that say I may be like a tuning fork for these frequencies. This may be coming from deep in the earth. There are lots of theories- everything from cloaked space craft to activity under the earth. I do know it is very real and does not come from inside my head. It is definitely external. I have also been the type of person that hears, sees and senses things that others do not. I am emphatic and can sense energy and pain in others. I also have seen things around me that others can not.
What they reported
First noticed: 2011
Pitch: maybe 65 hertz Sine, possibly lower
Loudest: During the night
Where: Indoors
Symptoms: Ear discomfort (pain, fullness, throbbing), Insomnia, Sense of vibration, I have used this as inner sound in meditation and can go into the sound
Changes with weather: I think it happens more with calm weather, however this could be that when it is quieter you will hear it more than when it is raining.
What stood out: a low humhooded
