An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Italy, Tarcento

like an engine somewhere outside my house I'm not sure of when I first started to hear it. I really thought it was a background noise caused by someone until one day I complained with my husband about "people working with engines and making noise early in the morning" and he said "what?". This happened a few years ago but I don't remember how many. Less than 10 however. I was obese but I had bypass surgery last year and lost lots of weight. I din't affect my hearing the noise at all, everything stayed the same.

What they reported

First noticed: 2016

Pitch: I only have access to a computer during the day. The 55Hz sounded similar, but I should do this during the night when I hear it best.

Loudest: During the night

Where: Indoors

Symptoms: it's just annoying. It's a noise, so it makes it more difficult to fall asleep. I'd like it weren't there.

Changes with weather: I'm not sure. If it rains, I don't hear it, because the noise of the rain covers it.
