low humming noise heard only in house. it stays steady then lowers. then it bobs up and down for a while then goes back to steady with intermittent up and down. everywhere in house. hear it when quiet. wife also now hears it. she only recently started hearing it. she thought I was hearing things but now she knows I'm not losing my mind. been hearing it for years. at least ten. haven't noticed it in other buildings. usually when you go somewhere it's not quiet as home. my email is earthjammer@msn.com. thanks for looking into this. I'm sitting at my kitchen table at 4:00 am and the sound is as loud as ever. run my ceiling fan in bedroom and the noise muffles the sound pretty well.
