An account in Vaucluse, France

In the night of September 20 to 21, 1980, numerous witnesses, military personnel, would see, several times during the night, glowing balls moving, with varying trajectories, sudden disappearances and reappearances. The sky was very overcast and the weather very stormy. That night, on the slopes of nearby Mount Ventoux, a car race was taking place. Although the investigation did not demonstrate it, the hypothesis of reflections in the night and on the low clouds of car headlights can be seriously considered, the various trajectories and the successive appearances and disappearances being explained by the topography of the race circuit.
