Vanishing suddenly in Paris, France

On December 12, 1979, a night watchman observed in the sky an object shaped like a flying saucer, slightly domed in the middle and tapering toward the edges. The color of the object was orange. A trail of purple and orange was visible behind the object. It disappeared suddenly and at very high speed toward the horizon. No other testimony was collected about this phenomenon, for which we lack information.
