A person reports that in 1964, they witnessed a peculiar phenomenon. Returning to the Bourget school base around 2:30 in the morning on a Sunday in early March, they were surprised to regularly notice a faint glow of short duration about 200 or 300 meters away. Approaching the fence of the military grounds, they saw 5 silhouettes moving near a craft resting on the ground. The upper part of the object, lit by the glow, was rounded. The silhouettes made back-and-forth trips from inside the object to its immediate surroundings. Suddenly the glow went out and in total silence the object rose one or two meters off the ground and remained stationary for one to two seconds. The witness then described the object as having a round or oval shape, flat underneath, with a bumpy top in the center and on the sides. Its dimensions were 8 to 10 meters in diameter and its height was 2.50 to 3 meters. This object rose vertically without transition at very high speed toward the south. No noise was heard and a kind of brief vertical trail appeared, along with two other traces in the sky. The next day the witness went to the site of their observation and, although separated by about ten meters from the exact spot by the military base fence, they noted a slight flattening of the grass and a few shrubs. They decided not to speak to anyone about this observation, for which we lack confirmed information. These facts, a priori very strange, reported very late (June 2007) by a single witness, are unverifiable and no serious analysis can be conducted.
