An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Bas-Rhin, France

On July 19, 1977, at around 11 p.m., a hunter in the forest observed in the sky a luminous ball of several colors that moved. Continuing on his way toward the forest edge, he saw, at the same spot where the luminous ball had disappeared, pale-colored discs the size of a plate. The bewildered hunter went to a chalet to find another person who could confirm what he was seeing. Another witness confirmed to the gendarmes that he had seen, through binoculars, three luminous discs motionless in the sky. Around midnight, no object was visible in the sky anymore. No other testimony that could provide additional information was collected on this phenomenon.
