An account in Ardche, France

On May 28, 1977, starting at 3 a.m., a female student made three observations of a luminous phenomenon that intrigued her. A yellow ball moved slowly before disappearing. No sound was heard during the observation. Another witness came to the observation site the next day between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Directly above the observation spot indicated by the first witness, he noted the presence of the Moon. The student probably made an astronomical observation of the Moon.
