An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Charente, France

On January 5, 1977, at around 6:30 p.m., two people in a car observe a red-orange luminous phenomenon that intrigues them. It seems to come from a mass moving SE-NW, with no particular noise heard. The observation lasts about ten minutes, during which sparks are noticed. The phenomenon gradually and slowly diminishes before going out completely. On several occasions, people traveling on the road used by these motorists noticed sparks coming from a power line oriented SE-NW. No other testimony will be collected on this phenomenon, for which we lack information.
