On January 28, 2017 between 5:07 and 5:10 a.m., a motorist is intrigued by a luminous phenomenon in a mostly clear sky. He sees 4 aligned white lights and 2 flashing lights of different colors. This observation is made through his windshield. Although driving at 110 km/h, the witness films what intrigues him with his mobile phone. The testimony first reflects a feeling of low strangeness perceived by the witness. It is also (and this is perhaps related) very poorly documented. The video does not show a UAP, but seems to indicate that what intrigues the witness is generally in front of him and therefore in the axis of his road. The witness moreover describes the UAP's movement as being in his own direction of travel. The UAP could be Capella precisely in that direction; the row of lights and the color scintillation could be caused by the optics of the windshield. The witness does not specify the angular width of the row of lights, nor whether the perception of the UAP's movement is due to an angular change or to the idea that its trajectory is parallel to his own (the change attributed to a star when one does not recognize it as such is that it moves with you!). The description is too imprecise to go further: a row of lights seen through a windshield can have various explanations, including the spread-out light of a star or an airplane, the reflection of an object inside the vehicle... Consequently, GEIPAN concludes that the case is classified as C: the observation is not very strange and above all unusable due to lack of information.
