An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Morbihan, France

On October 19, 1976, at around 11:40 PM, a family in a car noticed in the sky the movement of a peculiar object with beams of light at each end. This object emitted lights toward the ground, then rose after turning off its beams and disappeared toward the east. A person whose home is located in the valley where the observation took place noticed disturbances on their television set around 11:30 PM but made no direct observation. No information allowing any hypothesis to be validated was gathered from the various services contacted (weather service, radar service, EDF, and the sewage treatment and rendering plants located nearby and operating day and night).
