An account in Corse-du-Sud, France

On August 28, 2014, at 5 a.m., a witness observed for 10 minutes, between two groves of trees, the silent movement of a dark circular mass with light at its center, preceded and followed by several rows of groups of smaller dark masses. At the end of the investigation, it turns out that this observation does not match the most common misidentifications (airplanes, satellites, clouds, light displays), although certain aspects of the testimony could suggest them. The case proves to be of definite strangeness, but the movements observed have no intentional character. The consistency of the testimony is good; the witness filed their testimony with the gendarmerie, and a field investigation confirmed their account. GEIPAN classifies this case in category D1, unexplained, of good consistency, and of medium to high strangeness.
