On January 11, 2014 at around 4:25 p.m., a witness was observing the moon in a cloudy sky when he saw up to 8 bright white lights appear, spinning silently, and disappear from his view after a few minutes in a straight-line trajectory. The observation lasted 15 seconds. No other testimony was collected. Given the objective elements defined in the investigation report, namely the presence of a clear and bright sky and good visibility, the position of the sun, low on the horizon, and the contrast effect, the UAPs being in a spatial configuration favorable for their visibility by the witness (strong reflection of sunlight) and the visible shape of the UAPs, we can conclude that all conditions were met for the witness to observe simply white birds in high-altitude flight, strongly reflecting sunlight toward him. This case is to be classified as "B" as a probable observation of birds in high-altitude flight.
