On April 14, 2013 at around 1:30 a.m., a female driver spotted, for a few seconds, the straight-line passage of a black sphere that disappeared behind the trees. No other testimony was collected. This observation of a black ball cannot be explained by the usual misidentifications. However, the relative distance and the linear movement of the phenomenon make it a relatively unremarkable observation. The fact that the witness was the only one to see it, for only a few seconds, after a very long day, makes this testimony weak: one cannot rule out an illusion, a misidentification with a night bird, or a vision problem due to fatigue. The relatively low strangeness of the case does not justify an in-depth investigation. To date, the gendarmerie report has not yet been received by GEIPAN. For now, GEIPAN classifies this case as "C" due to a lack of information and cross-checking.
