An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in La Runion, France

On September 16, 2012 at 10:16 PM, a witness observed a very bright yellow object coming from the southwest, moving rapidly toward the mountain, above the horizon. The object, very bright, fragmented into two pieces that disappeared behind the horizon to the northeast. The description given by the witness is perfectly consistent with the observation of a bolide with fragmentation, most likely caused by the re-entry into the atmosphere of a meteoroid. This case is classified as "B".
